Welcome to FBA's Travel Basketball Program!


We are excited to offer a new "travel" (don't worry--you won't have to travel far) basketball program for Boys and Girls in Grades 3 - 8!

If your child desires to develop their skill set beyond our recreational basketball leagues, then this is the program for them.

3rd–5th grade Boys & Girls:  5:30–6:30 PM
6th–8th grade Boys & Girls:  6:30–7:30 PM

Cost: $15

Location:  FBA's brand new Denny Barrett Fieldhouse


KEY PROGRAM FEATURES:

• Convenient Locations: Teams will practice at FBA's new Denny Barrett Fieldhouse and travel will be limited to the North side.

• Focused Skill Development: Teams will benefit from 1-2 practices each week, enabling us to prioritize the development of fundamental skills for every player.

• Expert Coaching: Our travel program coaches, whether newer or experienced, will be trained and guided by veteran coaches who not only know basketball, but also understand the values of FBA.

• League Participation: Teams will have the opportunity to compete in off-site leagues in Westfield and Noblesville. This will provide appropriate competition levels tailored to each team's skill level.

•Participants will not have to commit to playing basketball year-round. Does your child love playing other sports throughout the year? Travel leagues will be available during spring, summer, fall, and winter, meaning that your child will have the option to play at different times throughout the year, depending on their availability.

While there are many travel basketball programs available in the area, we believe the convenience of location alongside doing things "the FBA way" will offer families a positive, values-based alternative to the high-cost/ high-time commitment that comes with other travel basketball programs. 

FBA's Travel basketball program cost is TBA. The cost will be more than our traditional rec leagues for several reasons including better coaching/training, frequency of practices, higher-quality uniform package, and league/tourney entry fees. FBA is working to keep our program affordable, and it will be significantly less expensive than other travel basketball programs in the area.

Scholarships will be available for FBA's Travel Basketball program.

FBA Travel Basketball Winter 2025

FBA Travel Basketball teams will practice at FBA but will likely have off-site games. Our travel teams will play in the Hoosier Basketball League hosted at Pro Net Sports and other facilities on the north side of Indy and Hamilton County. Cost will be $500 for new travel players and $400 for players returning from our fall session. Email Matt Green at [email protected] for more information.
