Welcome to FBA's Clinics

What is a Clinic? Clinics can be one or multiple days and are instructor-led with a smaller number of participants than camps. Clinics offer a "hands on" experience and are not in a practice and game multi-week league format. Clinic instructors are well experienced and typically have high school, college, or professional coaching or playing experience and want to share their passion for the sport.

Pickleball Clinics

For: Ages 12 years and up

Session Times: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (90 Minutes)

Location: Inside the FBA Gymnasium at 8600 N. College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46240

Cost: $35 per session

Beginner Pickleball Clinics

The beginner pickleball clinic is designed for players new to this popular sport. Instructor Steve Farley is an advanced level player (voted winner of “best pickleball lessons” in a recent issue of Indianapolis monthly magazine) and he’ll teach you the basic shots, the rules of the game, how to keep score, and basic doubles strategy. By the end of this 90-minute clinic, you’ll be playing a real pickleball game! Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport… come join us and see why millions of players say pickleball is a fun way to get some exercise! Participants should bring something to drink. Paddles will be provided to players who don’t have one. We will be using two courts so there is a limit of 8 people per clinic (a waiting list will be started once each clinic is full).

Low Intermediate Clinics

The Low Intermediate Clinic is for players who have previously taken a Beginner Clinic and have started playing in some recreational games. Sign up for this indoor clinic if you are ready to take your game to a higher level by working with popular instructor Steve Farley on improving your serves, returns, dinks, volleys and other pickleball shots. We’ll work on doubles court strategy, teamwork and communication. Bring your paddle and a water bottle. Paddles will be provided if you don’t have one. We will be using two courts so there is a limit of 8 people per clinic (a waiting list will be started once each clinic is full).
